Mission Statement
Our mission here in the children's department is to provide a safe and friendly environment that partners with the parents, teachers and caregivers, by which the love of Jesus Christ can be imparted into children’s lives.
So often we overlook the impact a church can have on the lives of children. At New Life we hope that your child leaves here knowing that he/she is loved by God in a very special way.
Check-In/Out
Children in the Pre-school levels are to be checked in by an adult at the CM counter. Both child and adult will be given a Security Tag. If you are visiting, your children must be signed in and we ask that you complete a registration card before they are released under our care.
Please pick up your Pre-school child immediately following the service using the security tag. Primary age children will be released once service is over.
Talent Store
Talents are a fun way for children to be rewarded for attending class, bringing their bible, food for the needy, or a friend. The talent store is in the foyer and open after each service.
Co-Operative Ministry
New Life's Children’s Ministries is designed as a co-operative ministry. We ask that each adult, after being at church for six-months who has children in the CM program, contribute to one of the children’s classes.
Please keep in mind that if you have children, it is an obligation and a privilege to serve within Children’s Ministries. We screen all volunteers with a background check as required by Foursquare International.
All The Little Things You Should Know
Personal Possessions
Please label all coats, diaper bags, bottles, etc. with your child’s name. We ask that personal toys be left with the adult.
Diaper Changing/Potty Training
Diapers will be changed for children under
the age of two only when necessary. If
your child is being potty trained, we ask
that you take them to the bathroom before
class and place them in Pull-Ups.
Snacks
Every class is offered a snack .
Many times the type of food is indicated
by the lesson your child is
learning that day. Please let us
know of any allergies or special diets when
your child is checked in.
Upset Children
If your child is having a hard
time adjusting, care givers
will try to comfort them for
at least 15 minutes. If they
are unsuccessful in calming your child, we
will notify you. Please do not enter the
classroom unless notified.
